Pretty much everything has changed for me and I'd say, a hell lot of things changed in fact since the last post. Undeniably, I was lazy, now, I might as well a pick up my pace. I half considered closing this blog down and carry on with the new one elsewhere. That will be discovered soon. As of now, I'm going to keep on using this site for my blogs. Technically, for now, I'm lost at what to post, thus the constant delaying on updates. I'm no longer the one going out for parties and clubs or whats not. Rather, the life has gotten really dull. Maybe it's what most people say, part of the process of growing up and sacrificing for something else.
True enough, I am indeed sacrificing most of my time for something else. That's to be announced when it's all done :D On a side note, I'd like to point out to all that stop expecting party pictures,hot chicks, hot hunks or whats not in trend. I don't do trend. I set my own trend. Look at it this way, people are crazy about minions right now, here, in my country. Minions as in those mini yellow guy who speaks alien language in Despicable Me.
Yes, these little yellow guy in jumpers with goggles on. People rushes to McDonald's and queue up from midnight or whenever to it's open just to get their hands on these little guys. See what the crazy queue and traffic it caused? Both caught at different state in my country.
These two pictures is sourced from my friend, Shuffler Kenneth. Notice those long ass queue? I'm probably dead asleep while these people try to get their hands on the minion toy and throw the foods away, untouched. Now that's truly despicable. But, hurrah to these bunch of people!
These guys collected the unwanted meals from those hobos that bought the the meal set for the minion toy and donate them to various homeless and orphanages. It seems like they have taken down their Facebook page or I'm just purely lousy at looking up for people/group in Facebook. Whatever it is, if you don't eat them, give them to those who can't have proper meal, damn it. Don't go wasting foods and just cuz we're not living in Bosnia or Africa, doesn't give you all the damn right to waste foods.
It’s definitely the time of the month again. No, you know I definitely don’t mean about the period for ladies. I’m talking bout the foodies !! This is definitely the time when the hungry ones go and clear all the foods possible served. 4 big eater plus 1 moderate eater. Wait, I am included in the big eater part ok? Although unintentionally, I did starve myself throughout the day just to be able to stuff myself crazy. Check out the plates that we cleared off…

See, one of boyfriend friend cleared most of the purple plates. It was all the sushi with the tempura prawns except for the last one which was the fat piece of unagi. The purple plates top it all off.
We call this our personal Sushi Challenge and when we asked for the bill, everyone was staring at our stack of plates. Imagine what we could do if all 5 of us were big eaters. The duration of time to sit down during the RM2 bonanza has been shortened since a lot of people visited and there’s barely a seat left. From two hours to one hour only. I’m not sure bout the amount of people that a member card can bring last time but now, it’s 5 pax per card. Don’t miss out on this !! It’s only until 14th Oct, which is this week Thursday !
It sounded awesome but it was painful but yet, it’s definitely a fun filled night. I’ve never felt so good and relaxed for almost two months. It was the first day of celebration for Octoberfest ! Yeah, like a friend of mine said, I was drunk when I checked in to the place on 4square. Instead of saying Octoberfest like it’s supposed to be, I typed Ocbotbafest something like that. I laughed when I saw what I did the next day.
Doesn’t matter bout that, I still laughed at myself. Anyway, what the title is about ? I celebrated Octoberfest on 1st of Oct 2010 and got a 1 Litre mug thanks to Sid’s Pub at Bangsar South and of course, Tiger Beer for making this mug, LOL !!

Hell yeah ! It’s even bigger than my face !! Technically I was high when we all finished and we’re all playing the drinking game to get the beer finished faster !
A mug for each one of us and I had trouble finishing at the end of it but managed to thanks to the games. It costs about RM50 per mug inclusive of the beer. Once you’re done drinking, just ask the waiter to wash your mug or not, just walk away with it ! Octoberfest is da bomb
I know it’s not new but I hadn’t talked about it. Starting from, Wednesday night ? Boyfriend and I followed his friend out for a drink or two. We headed to Sid’s Pub for a drink and of course to check out the Arthur’s Day bus. It was nice. I never got a picture of it but heck, Sid’s Pub was a wonderful place to just sit on the bar and drink a Stout or two. We head on to Movida next. There, the guys did something outrageous. We’ve heard of Guiness mixed with Tigers. But, Tigers mixed with Milk ? I mean like, full, cream, milk? It definitely seems awful but, believe me when I say this, it tastes all right.

We’re kinda bored and the Ambassador got us shot glass for the beers. Yes, shot glass for beers, not hard liquors… Things went worse from there…
Mixed this out for boyfriend’s friend when he went off to check out some chicks that I told him is chinese and hot. When he came back, his hands kept flying doing the no-no motions.
On the Sunday, (after some checking with Diana and researching and much callings), boyfriend and I headed to Kikyo at Bandar Puteri, Puchong for lunch together with his friends, another couple. To be exact, buffet lunch. 60 over usual dishes for you to choose and it costs RM29.90++. With tax and everything, it totals up to RM34 per pax. Believe me, it’s worth it.

In the end, the guys ordered 10 plates of Unagi and it was simply worth the price since for ala carte, it costs about RM30 per serving. Well, the buffet Unagi was served with only 3 pieces per plate unlike the ala carte ones.

Make a reservation if you wanna go for dinner buffet which is available every day. This place is small and I daresay it might be jam packed most of the time. Walk-ins may not get a place to sit even if its two seater table.
It was meant to be the trip back to his place to visit his parents, first of all, fix his car, second of all and third, grab some stuff for his paintball game later on at his parents’ shop. The other times would be spent by sitting at the home, relaxing and chilling plus killing mosquitoes nonstop. The first three part happened, the last three didn’t. Well, boyfriend and I did rested for a tad in the noon before the parents come home to pick us up for dinner at Malacca. From a normal dinner, it turns out to be a trip around Malacca and a joyful trip for me.
We headed to this shop called Bibik Neo at Melaka Raya. Seriously, the foods are not bad, I don’t taste much of the MSG. Pure, ingredients flavors. Sweeeeeettttt….
It’s a Baba Nyonya restaurant and well, the father liked Nyonya foods and I gotta hand it in to them, the parents sure know where to find foods. The bad side to it was that, the restaurant charge a hell lot for 4 dish, rice and a pot of tea. The bill came up to RM89 something for a fish, prawn, steamed lady finger with “belacan” and a soup. Business is bad I guess. We went off to a shop that sells biscuits and moon cakes. Well, that’s what I see mostly. I loved this one the best since it brings back my childhood memories…
The pig biscuit in the pig cage !! Boyfriend and I started playing around with that and well, most Chinese knows what the cage are used for :D

Besides that, we went to the Jusco that looks quite big from the outside, but quite all right from the inside. Introduced the parents to J.Cos Iced Milk Thai Tea and everyone is all smiles. Boyfriend and I stopped by a Fun Fair near his place after we dropped the parents off and changed car to fill petrol before coming back to KL. It was definitely a journey down the memory lane. (Minus the amount of noise please)
Waking up early the next morning, which was the Friday morning to come back KL, I walked out to the porch just to stare at the peaceful scenery just right outside the house. Thanks to the rain, this was captured.
Seriously, how often do you see this besides going to Genting and darn it, just outside your house in KL ? My nostrils are cleansed. Is yours in KL ?
The big ass mango tree ( I think ) just gotta be in the middle of every picture I took, darn it. It was raining heavily and I was kinda stoned to go out further.
This trip makes me realize that there are more things in Malacca that I’ve yet to try and I can’t wait for next trip back.
I can't really remember what we did over the weekend, but it was quite a blast. Boyfriend and I headed over to Jaya One for dinner before meeting up Dylan and Mel for our outing session. With the raining spell around constantly, I decided to go for steamboats, thus, bringing us over to Fireman restaurant. Foods there are just normal with very little choice. Per person it costs about RM30 (it's a buffet style restaurant). Designs are too simple and basically nothing attracts over there! But, little do we know that around 9:30pm, the restaurant dimmed their lights and suddenly played the Final Countdown song loudly. Curiously, I looked down at a mini stage (yup, its two floor and I was on top).
A man, shirtless, went to the stage with two baton, twirling it around, dips it into a bucket of something, and lights it up. There's actually a SHOW! Here's a video to show but, sorry bout my excited voice lol. I just can't help going nuts since it's not always I see a show around like these.
Like I said, I can't really write much bout the first weekend as I've forgotten almost everything. But it's slightly different with last weekend.
Second weekend of November:
Tracy and I planned for a group outing among the colleagues for Friday night, but in the end, it turns out only Cindy and Jit Kong joining. I got used to these type of scenarios. I asked Mel to join last minute and as long as it's all about Hoegarrden at Envy, Solaris KL, everything is fine with her and she's happy. Boyfriend was supposed to hang out with Darren and Alex somewhere else but apparently Darren didn't show up, so, boyfriend ended up joining me as well.
When we reached Envy, the first thing that caught my eye was a dance on the glass bridge. (For those that has never been to Envy Club, the design was similar to MOS)A group of 4 girls, be it hired or not, was dancing on that bridge, with two of them wearing skirts. Mel, Cindy and I kept going back and forth trying to catch a glimpse of the underwear (yes I know it's crazy and weird) and it's both WHITE! I keep cracking up when the girls came down to dance after awhile. Some uncle just joined into the group and started dirty dancing with them. I just watched the entire scene and kept laughing. It was a great mamak session after drinking there.
On Saturday itself, Shireen asked boyfriend and I out to hang around (SURPRISE! BAKUTEH princess actually called us out!)Before that, boyfriend and I headed to Low Yat, KL as my ex colleagues has a roadshow there. As much as I hated KL (traffic, the crowds there) I still visit them as I missed them much. After getting stuck in traffic for about an hour or so (pisses me off since the air cond just have to breakdown at the moment...), we finally managed to park our car at the most expensive car park area there. The visit was just a brief one as they are all busy. Boyfriend and I ended up walking around in Low Yat looking for stuffs. At the end of the day, I almost threw a tantrum and demanded to go back home. Yes, that is how much I hated KL. After a year or so of not stepping my foot at KL, I got all angry again for going there.
It was a blessing when we finally reached Bangsar Shopping Complex to meet up with Shireen for dinner and drink. Went over to Twenty One Tables and Terrace (branch of TwentyOne Kitchen in Changkat Bukit Bintang) for dinner but ended up just drinking as they have just opened that place on Nov 5th and menu for foods were very limited. I was surprised to see one of my high school friend working there as a Management Trainee. Did a little catch up and headed over to Chilies for dinner after making a reservation to go back for a drink again. Second round at TwentyOne Tables and Terrace finds us with me, meeting a friend who was part of the architect team for that place and Mel came over with Dylan after her fateful meeting with the future in law. Syndie and David even showed up after having a family night. It was a freezer there but the design and music just makes me relaxed and happy. Needless to say, I love these places MOAR compared to blardy hot and stuffy KL. That place was designed simple but stylish enough for people to enjoy. It's gotten to a point where it is quite pointless for me to take pictures and show when everyone has been doing it. Unless it's something totally about me, of course.
Last night, boyfriend and I went over to Tropicana City Mall to grab dinner at Sushi Tei. Here's some general info, Sushi Tei has branches around in the SEA market and as far as I know, they have a branch in Singapore and only one branch here in KL (which is the one at Tropicana City Mall). I've already surfed through several blogs / review sites and found that out of 6 review sites I checked, all 6 of them said the foods and the place are pretty much OKAY. Here comes temptation...
Reaching there around 8:20pm, we're lucky to get a seat near to the Kaiten Belt. Mel and Dylan will be reaching late as Mel needs to go back to her place to pack her stuff as she will be staying over my place for the night (correction, in Dylan's room and yes...they are dating already! Look at her blog yourself! Link is there). The moment my butt lands on the chair, I started to grab some sushi from the Kaiten Belt. Boyfriend was busy leafing through the menu and with foods in my mouth, I took a peek at the menu...
Had a shock actually looking at the pricing, cheapest food starts from RM1.60 for the sushi plate and it could go all the way to RM10. But then again, looking at the size of the meat given...I'm in heaven~
Boyfriend assured me to go ahead and order the foodies that I wanted and not to look at the price since it's only once a while. With the green light on, I ordered Chicken Cutlet Cha Soba, Soft Shell Crab Temaki, and a Salmon Belly miso soup. When the foods arrived, I felt as if I'm blessed. Chicken cutlet was amazing, crispy on the outside, amazingly soft and tender in the inside. The meat felt like as if it will melt inside my mouth (like M&M). The Cha Soba itself is given in a generous serving. Both Soft Shell Crab Temaki and the Salmon Belly miso soup makes everything complete.
Dylan and Mel finally arrived when it was time for the last call. They ordered some sushi as well and Dylan got himself a Unagi Don and Mel got Chicken Cutlet Cha Soba (I told her I had the same thing already and she laughed). Unagi Don came and my eyes just popped out looking at the amount of Unagi given and the size of the meat. It's like mission impossible to finish the foods.
By the end of the meal, we called for the bill and it costs us around RM189 something. This food definitely worth the price... I've never complained about a food being too expensive if it's really worthy... I'll be back, Sushi Tei !
I've been so lazy lately to blog as I've ran out of things to write about. Everything I did was the same and it repeats every single time. How lifeless can I be?

Syndie, Melissa, David, boyfriend and I hung out at Soho KL and we went to this restaurant that I can barely remember the name (I drank a shot of Jagermeister Shooter and got tipsy). Syndie and David bought me a last minute one-slice-cheese-cake and Mel bought me those drinks at the restaurant. Thanks guys ^^.
Next one, I'm having all sort of thoughts of the peoples that I really want to look back for now and I know it would be impossible as loads of stuff happened between us. Not mentioning the fact that I don't have their contacts anymore... Well, shit happens but memories make me sick.

ZOMG...Been ages since I've last updated on my blog. Tons of craps been happening ever since my last blog and that made me lost my mood to even bother to go online at all (except for work of course). Cut long story short, updates of my life are here...
1. Got my Heineken member card !! It came in a surprise although I've received a call to confirm my home address. They actually got city link to deliver it to me and I'm very surprised.
Inside consists a neat silver envelope with my name clearly on it.

Enclosed is a special offer card but I think it expired already since it's 2009 now...
2. Korean developer came for a training session for us and a few of them smoke. Their Dunhill cigarette is kinda neat and guess what...It's Frost instead of menthol...Brrrrr...
3. Tried out a new steamboat and grill restaurant near my house area. Got a surprise as instead of the normal pot in the middle and the grill plates next to it, they separate this one to one steamboat pot and one grill plate...Best part of it, they sell pork satay. All marinated meat are just perfect and the freshness of the seafoods are there! Environment of the place is not bad. Although the selection is not much, however, the selection for ice creams...is ALOT...There's 9 different flavors for you to choose and price? RM19.80 per person. Yes, it's an EAT-ALL-YOU-CAN buffet steamboat BBQ.

Thanks to boyfriend, I had a great outing on last weekend. First stop, after fixing his car, we went to Tesco to get some groceries for me. Funniest thing there is, we had to wait like 5 minutes to get a trolley!
Everyone is like waiting for the darn trolley and boyfriend got so bored that he went to sign up for Tesco card lol !
After grocery shopping, we head home to take a nap till night and we're off to Brussels Cafe at Jaya One, PJ. We called Thomas along and he brought a friend with him. Beers are great there! Unfortunately, boyfriend had to 'work' a little since the shop there uses his company system and it just had to hang that time =.=

There's an event that day and the red carpet is rolled all the way to the entrance! How glamorous~~~ I was having fun practicing for my Oscar then =p We head on to food hunting next after walking around the whole place. Ichiban Boshi at Lower Ground floor turns out to be our first stop.

They're the human mannequins! They're models hired by TANGS probably to pose for fifteen minutes before they change another pose but we're there for the last pose and I loved the last picture the best. Day ended quite well and we went home to rest and ate most of the buns while watching movie. Thanks for the nice weekend boyfriend~ XD
