Another Year Older

Well, technically it doesn’t really matter about growing old or not since everyone will age. But the beauty of that is, I’m learning how to appreciate things more and more. For instance, my playlist. My songs used to be and still will be as a friend said, screamo songs, or any songs that I feel is worth me listening to it.

But whaddaya know? Here I am typing this out while listening to a bunch of classical piece from 80s to 90s. It’s…peacefully soothing. I had the CDs long time ago and only yesterday I had taken the time out to rip the songs to put inside my netbook for my convenience. When I first got the CDs, I never bothered listening to it when I found out it’s all instrumental. Look what happen now. I thank God I never threw them out back then and kept it in good condition. Listening to all the piano, the saxophone, the acoustic guitar… It’s all just so wonderful. I know, I sound like a sick love puppy lost in the blind love. But hey, that’s a beautiful feeling isn’t? Well duh, I’m in a good relationship and that feeling still comes back most of the time. Good upkeep, right? *wink wink*

But ya’know, one thing bout all these songs, all girls are hopelessly in love with such thing. Who wouldn’t? I could totally imagine myself dancing to the song feeling like a princess. LOL. What do you expect? All those songs makes you feel like you’re living a fairy tale life (play the songs, listen to it, have your eyes closed and let your imagination bring you to it) with all the beautiful instruments playing. God bless the creator of these instruments and yes, I do have to sing Thank Abba for the Music. I’m hopelessly in love with these nao!!

Technically, we didn’t get the RSVP or anything. Boyfriend was disappointed when we missed the RSVP time. Needless to say, he searched high and low for any ways to get his hands on the tickets. He found a person selling it for RM40 per ticket and, we’re there! That price, was totally worth the fun, I’d say.

The invitation card looks awesome and I was kinda sad to part with it. Anyway, that didn’t matter. What mattered most was, I was totally wasted during the event. Hey, how could you not when it was free flow? Well, I did tweet that it wasn’t free flow and it’s 5 voucher per person for the drinks. But that was before 10 or almost 11pm. The reason being? They didn’t want people to be drunk or totally wasted before the show starts.

Event started off with some DJ spinning and first performance was Deja Voodoo Spells followed by Mizz Nina for the local acts.

Didn’t have much pictures of all the acts cuz hey, I was totally busy with the drinks and the fun. The whole party really hit off when Taiwan band, Da Mouth came on and followed by Kardinal Offishal next. It was totally awesome. When Da Mouth performed, all the guys was busy hooting and gawking at Aisa, the Japanese girl in the band. I gotta admit it, SHE WAS HOT. Oh before I forget, Henry Golding and a girl…forgotten her name, they were the emcees for that night.

During Kardinal Offishal performance, they picked 3 people out from the crowd for a game of their own. A girl and two guys. One by one they danced off to a Michael Jackson song. One of the guy won when he did almost-near imitation of MJ moves. The other guy break danced and although he was awesome, it was supposed to be MJ moves. Girl, sorry man, no comments. The winner danced with Kardinal after that and it did seem fun.

This was the beginning before the free flow starts. When it started, we filled part of our table with the drinks. The reddish ones are the berry mix flavored Hennessy. I was totally wasted, I mean it. I had videos of Makiyo when Da Mouth was performing as well as Kardinal but, quality wasn’t that good so, sorry guys, no vids of the happening party. But I’m sure if you search in youtube, you’d find tons of them.

Great fun, great party, hats off to H-Artistry again for arranging such awesome party year after year.

The Greatest Loss

Both 2008 and 2009 up until now, world has faced the greatest loss ever when last year started with the death of Heath Ledger on Jan 22nd 2008, the man who acted as Joker in the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight.



His last and greatest work of all that most classified as a 'Tragedy and Triumph'.

My favorite quote of all time on Heath Ledger death, ''The guy had serious nuts. I needed someone who wouldn't be afraid of the comparison with Jack Nicholson. This was an actor who wasn't afraid to bury himself in his character — to a massive extent.''

This year, the death of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson (1958- 25th June 2009) has just shocked the whole world.



Every youtube videos of his songs are written with messages from fans all over the world. The best quote I've seen in the youtube messages is this one, "The King of Pop, but a God to me. We lost an Icon, the Legend will always live."





Those two are my life time favorite songs from the King of Pop himself.

My favorite quote on Michael Jackson's death, "I must confess I am not surprised by today's tragic news. Michael has been on an impossibly difficult and often self-destructive journey for years. His talent was unquestionable but so too was his discomfort with the norms of the world. We're all left speechless when both left us and it is always too late to appreciate one when one is gone forever from our sight and touch. We'll miss them both greatly... Amen

Freedom Gone!

I hate it I totally hate this ! My friend was showing me YouTube videos of the Freedom Festival at PD and it was totally freaking awesome! I was practically pulling my hair off and screaming at myself for missing it because of the stupid work. NOOOOOOOO !!!! This is the second time I missed Tiesto's Rave ! NOOOOOOO !!!!

 

It funny though watching this video of someone else and hearing them sing along with the music ' De De De De...De De De De...' LoL

Been feeling so exhausted lately. Is it just me or is it the M season? (m – Menstruation).

Not only that, from yesterday, I hadn't been feeling well...from sore throat to flu to...headache...the worse thing that could ever happen to me...Must be the M season...not even the medication that Anthony gave helps.

Felt like such a troublemaker around Veron, Vince and Anthony. Doesn't matter anymore since I'm going to take my stuff and move back home tonight. Thank you Kevin for helping me out here.
